Kids Ministry at First Assembly

Our goal at Freehold Kidmin is to help families lay a spiritual foundation in their children’s lives that they can build on for a lifetime of growing in their knowledge of and relationship with God.

We provide two groups that allow us to better meet the needs of your child based upon their age and grade. Our younger group is from Pre-K to 2nd grade, and our older group is from 3rd grade to 6th grade.

When We Meet

SUNDAYS | 8:30AM - 9:30AM & 10:30AM - 11:30AM

Kids Church for all ages (Pre-K to Grade 6).

WEDNESDAYS | 7:00PM - 8:15PM

We have classes for both Freehold Kids and Freehold Preteens.

MONTHLY ACTIVITIES

We also have activities almost every month with varying activities to help promote friendships and connection between the children that will last a lifetime - and that allow time for parents to connect and recharge!

Interested in Child Dedication?

Here at First Assembly, we practice child dedication. This is a time when parents pledge their commitment to raise their child according to Christian values and beliefs. While a very meaningful event, this is not a Christian baptism, according to the Bible.

Meet our Children’s Pastor

 
 

Pastor Emily Cantrell

Children’s Pastor

Pastor Emily serves as Children’s Pastor at First Assembly of God and has a heart to see the next generation grow in their walk with Jesus. She is passionate about helping kids discover their unique place in the church and use their God-given gifts to glorify Him. Pastor Emily enjoys coffee, reading, music, crocheting, and is a big fan of Star Wars, and the Olympics. She also loves being outdoors—whether walking trails or chasing a sunrise, sunset, or moonrise.
