Summer Reflections
Each week this summer, you’ll hear from different voices in our church family—pastors, missionaries, guests, and worship teams—as we reflect on what God is doing and stay encouraged in the journey.
Rev. Carl Nalbandian, Chi Alpha Missionary to Rowan
07/06/25 | John 20:19-29
Doubt is normal. We all have moments where we have questions or are struggling to gain clarity regarding our faith. But Jesus isn’t afraid of those questions - and neither should we.
Our Guest Speaker, Carl Nalbandian, walks us through John 20 and the story of Thomas - Jesus gave to Thomas the answer he asked for, and Thomas went from doubting to proclaiming that Jesus was God. We also can bring our questions to Jesus, and our faith can be strengthened and deepened, even if our clarity doesn’t come right away.

A Godly Legacy (Pastor Bonnie Polisano)
07/20/25 | 1 Samuel 24, 30 & 2 Samuel 9
This week, Pastor Bonnie shares a powerful message on leaving a godly legacy, drawing from the life of David in 1 Samuel 24 & 30 and 2 Samuel 9. Through loyalty, compassion, and faithfulness, we’re reminded that the choices we make today shape the legacy we leave tomorrow. It’s not about fame—but about faith, love, and obedience that impacts generations.
Do You See It? (Pastor Emily Cantrell)
07/27/25 | Isaiah 43:15-21, Psalm 27:13-14
Pastor Emily shares a faith-filled message from Isaiah 43 and Psalm 27, reminding us that even when we can’t see it yet—God is already at work. In the midst of waiting, hoping, or questioning, He’s preparing a new way forward. The challenge? To see with eyes of faith and trust that God’s promises still stand.

The Joy of the Lord Is Our Strength (Pastor Matt Jones)
08/10/25 | Nehemiah 8:10
This week, Pastor Matt reminds us that joy isn’t just a feeling—it’s a weapon. In seasons of weariness or discouragement, the joy of the Lord gives us strength to endure, overcome, and move forward. When our joy is rooted in God’s presence and promises, it can’t be shaken.
Spirit-Led Prayer (Pastor Matt Jones)
08/17/25 | Romans 8:26-27
Prayer isn’t about having perfect words—it’s about connecting with the Spirit of God. Pastor Matt teaches on how to pray when you don’t know what to say, including praying in the Spirit, using the Psalms, and letting worship fuel intercession. Whether you’re new to prayer or needing a fresh spark, this message will deepen your walk and lift your voice.
